Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Jenny Carson Travel! By accessing or using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

 

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the services provided by Jenny Carson Travel ("we," "us," or "our"). By booking a trip or using our services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

 

2. Services Provided

Jenny Carson Travel offers travel planning, booking services, tour groups of all types, and related travel services. Our services may include, but are not limited to, flight bookings, hotel reservations, car rentals, individual travel insurance, family trip insurance, and annual travel insurance for my "travelers".

 

 All Custom Itereraries are unique and require me to reserch your destination to find the best accommodations, transfers, tours, excursions, and other components. Vetted and updated. It typically takes me 12-40 hours to do my research dependent on clients' preferences and complexity of itinerary. 

 

I charge $150 Research Fee for Domestic Travel. If the itinerary is complex, we can discuss an hourly charge. Example: Domestic Travel involving Road Trip with several destinations. 

 

I charge a $300 Research Fee for International Travel. If the itineray is complex, we can discuss an hourly charge. Example: Multiple cities and/or countries. 

 

Unfortunately, I have had "clients" use my itineray and book everything I researched and was not compensated. This ensures me that you are invested in my services and my time. I do not copy itineraries. Everything is custom.

 

*Please allow 7-10 business days for me to make a Domestic Proposal to allow for research.

 

*Please allow 10-20 business days for me to make an International Proposal to allow for Research. 

 

3. Booking and Payment

3.1 Booking Process: To book a trip, you must provide accurate and complete information. Please enter a Proposed Budget Total. This is crucial for me to design your cutomized trip. All bookings are subject to availability.

3.2 Payment: Full payment or a deposit may be required at the time of booking for many travel companies.  We accept credit cards and clients will be charged a 3.5% transaction fee per transaction if supplier will only accept a payment from me, your travel agent (this is a rare exception).

3.3 Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be made in writing. Cancellation fees ($100 or more) may apply based on the supplier's policies and the timing of the cancellation. 

3.4 Refunds: Refunds will be processed according to the supplier's policies. We will assist you in obtaining any applicable refunds. A $150 Research Fee for Domestic Traveling and a $300 Research Fee for International Trip will not be Refunded. If an individual trip has a higher Research Fee: it will not be Refunded due to my time investment. 

 

4. Changes to Bookings

Changes to bookings may be subject to fees and availability. We will do our best to accommodate your requests, but we cannot guarantee changes will be possible. 

 

5. Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that you purchase travel insurance to cover unforeseen events, including trip cancellations, medical emergencies, “acts of god” and lost luggage. We can provide information on travel insurance options. If you choose not to purchase travel insurance, you will be required to sign a waiver declining insurance. 

 

6. Responsibilities of Travelers

6.1 Travel Documents: It is your responsibility to ensure that you have all necessary travel documents, including passports, visas, NEW requirements, required Country compliance re: electronics, completed client booking intake form with Total Proposed budget and any required vaccinations.

6.2 Health and Safety: You are responsible for your health and safety while traveling. We recommend that you check travel advisories and health guidelines for your destination.

6.3 Clients have 24 hours to view proposal and either accept or reject the proposal. I will notify you that your proposal is ready. After 24 hours, the proposal is null and void and will be unavailable on line unless arrangements have been made in writing by client and approved by Jenny Carson Travel.

6.4 Behavior: You agree to conduct yourself in a manner that is respectful to others and complies with local laws and regulations.

 

 Please view my working hours. I do not accept phone calls or texts on Friday (Reserved for my Family obligations) and Weekends unless it is an emergency. My website: www.JennyCarsonTravel.com will notify me if you have questions or information. These questions will be answered the following business day unless it is an emergency. Also, please use my business phone number for all travel purposes- 1-501-943-8484 during working hours. If you are inquiring about proposal outside Business Hours, leave your contact information at www.JennyCarsonTravel.com and I will contact you in less than 24 hours. 

 

Jenny Carson Travel Business Hours: 

Monday-Thursday: 9 am - 4 pm

Friday (Family Obligations), Saturday, and Sunday: No Business Hours. No exceptions unless an emergency.

Emergency: Contact www.JennyCarsonTravel.com . I check my website 2x/day daily or Call my Business number: 1-501-943-8484. 

 

7. Liability

7.1 Limitation of Liability: Jenny Carson Travel acts as an intermediary between you and the travel service providers. We are not liable for any loss, injury, or damage resulting from the services provided by third parties.

7.2 Force Majeure: We are not liable for any failure to perform our obligations due to events beyond our control, including natural disasters, strikes, or government actions. It is the clients’ responsibility to check with local government. 

 

8. Privacy Policy

Your privacy is important to us. We will collect, use, and protect your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms and Conditions.

 

9. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Saline County District Court. Any disputes arising from these Terms and Conditions shall be resolved in the courts of Saline County, Arkansas. 

 

10. Amendments

We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website, and your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms and Conditions.
